Antique Indonesian 19th Century Ceremonial Brass Heavy Bowl

Antique heavy Indonesian footed brass bowl made for ceremonial betel nut / leaf use. Cast in heavy gauge brass and etched with foliate and knot-work designs.
This brass bow has been actively used – hence the tarnished appearance and a crack in the rim. It has a rough cast base underside.
