This unusual pair of carved wood and hand-painted curtain hooks ‘Loro Blonyo’ or inseparable couples are a part of traditional beliefs representing the sanctity of marriage within Javanese culture. In Javanese language Loro means ‘two’ and Blonyo means ‘makeup’
