This Buddha statue and 4 Monks are exquisitely carved and painted by an artisan schooled by the renowned Thai master craftsman Khun Praphan Kantiyat.
Khun Praphan started carving Buddha statues over 40 years ago. This statue’s meticulous and precise ornamental detail results from his research and historical knowledge of ancient Buddha carvings. The sculptures replicate original antique statues exhibited in museums and temples of Southeast Asia.
These four statues are handmade replicas and will differ slightly from the original antique Buddha and monk statues. They are exported with a Permit under a License provided by The Thailand Fine Arts Department.
